Turning Pressure
into Performance
In close cooperation with Danny McGuigan and
Stephen Williams of the United Kingdom, this innovative
program helps individuals, teams and whole organizations
to deal with stress. Based on the premise that
stress cannot be avoided in today's work environment,
we are faced with the fact that it can either
deteriorate our performance or be used to enhance
it, depending on the coping mechanisms we employ.
During this workshop participants come to understand
better how they are currently coping with stress
and are guided to expand their effective coping
strategies. When whole teams or organizations
decide to participate, aggregate data can be used
to help the organization identify culture change
opportunities.
Typical workshop
length: 1 - 1½ days
Usual number of participants:
10 to 60
Methods: In
advance of the workshop participants are asked
to complete a 30-40 minute Pressure Management
Indicator. During the workshop each participant
has a 30-40 minute individual feedback session
with a specially trained coach to explore her
or his own individual results. Techniques useful
for everyone are presented in the workshop.
